Flood Relief & Rehabilitation
- Sun Global Trust was among few organizations to start emergency relief work with in few hours. We continue to work in Flood areas of Chennai with the help of Volunteers.

Contribute Food Supplies
- We contribute food supplies, containers, paper cups and plates, rain coats and umbrellas. biscuits, milk packets, water packets, band aids, Sanitary napkins, Candles.

Large donations of food, clothes, medicines and the other requirements of the affected families have been received as voluntary donations and have been delivered to the right people at the right time and place.

Volunteers challenges
Sun Global Trust and volunteers on ground faced various challenges like continuous rains, broken transportation and communication networks, power cuts and water logging.

Rescue and Relief operations
Sun Global Trust’s Disaster Response team was on ground the first week itself and has been actively working in Chennai, aiding first with the rescue and relief operations.

2015 - Chennai Floods
The city of Chennai was particularly affected, receiving its highest ever rainfall recorded in November. Nearly 200 people have died due to floods, an over 2 million people affected.
